New Provider Training(New Providers Only—Not for New Billers)The Provider Education and Outreach staff conducts trainings for new Medicare
providers. A new provider can also be one who has changed their intermediary,
or there has been a change of ownership. To register for training complete the
information below or fax
in a Training Registration Form NGS training manuals and the training schedule for new providers are posted on the Provider Education and Training page. Providers are also required to take the Fiscal
Intermediary Standard System (FISS) Tutor New provider training sessions are conducted monthly via Webnair teleconference. Note to providers who are newly certified, the POE staff can only schedule training for your facility, after they have completed the reimbursement questionnaire sent by our Audit/Reimbursement Department. In addition, if you are requesting FISS training, you must have your user ID. To obtain a Direct Data Entry (DDE) logon ID"
