PC Print Version 3.6 Software

What's New in 3.6 - PC Print V3.6.0 was modified to translate National Provider Indentifier (NPI) data. The software will now process a new service provider name loop 2100, when NM101 is equal to "82", entity id code qualifier, and NM108 is equal to "XX". The NPI number will be populated in NM109. A new field for the NPI number has also been added to both the All Claims and Single Claims Reports.

PC Print is a software product designed to operate on Windows based personal computers. The PC Print translator program allows viewing and printing of X12 835 version 3051.4A.01, and 4010A1 remittance data. This software does not support systematic posting of the 835 data. It was developed by the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This software is available to NGS Institutional Providers via download at no cost.

The purpose of this software, as stated in the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) PC-Print Manual (3.6 Version), is to facilitate Accounts Receivable processing for the end user, a Provider, who does not have access to sophisticated data processing facilities. Also, to produce a paper remittance advice acceptable for subsequent payers processing when electronic links capable of ANSI ASC X12.835 transmission do not exist."

PC-Print will not work properly when installed on a Windows version earlier than Windows 95. This is a stand-alone product and therefore will not be supported by National Government Services EDI staff if it is installed on a network.

Users of PC-Print versions earlier than 3.4.3 must first uninstall that version before installing this version of PC-Print.

• Install the PcPrint executable file(3.5) not using WinZip

• Click “PC PRINT 3.6 to download the WinZip file of PC Print to your PC
• Click on the “PC PRINT1 WinZip” file on your PC
• Click on “SETUP.EXE” to unzip and click “OK”
• Install window will appear
• Save program to a folder on your PC and click “NEXT”
• Click on “INSTALL”
• After set up is complete, click on the “PCP01.EXE” in download file to open PC Print
